Top Loader Yes or NO?

Well of course, right before our mini vacation our dryer stopped "spinning", and our washer has been leaking for a while now. But I have been putting off replacing them. No I don't have a choice. Auugghh.

So we have been comparing washers/dryers and have decided on a Top Loader washer, it uses half the water and by all the reviews you can also put in bigger loads at one time. So I should be saving lots of water, plus they use less electricity.

We found a pair at 20% off, plus I am hoping to get some rebates from the water and/or gas and elctric companies because they are "energy star".
