Roomba Revived!

I love the Roomba, I have had one almost from the start.  I always recommend getting the extended warranty because....well....they all tend to break.

Now the last few Roomba's I had to replace didn't "break" per sea....my stupid pug peed on them!!!

However, the place I used to buy my Roomba's is out of business, so I finally go in contact with the company that makes them and I was able to replace the mainbody only for a reduced cost!  boyah! Not only that I got the most current model.

It is sooo nice to have Roomba back, now all I have to do is make sure the PUG doesn't PEE on this one!  Damn dog, he is sooo fugly, what can I do!

Cleanmate VS Roomba

Well I got my Cleanmate the other day. It looks a lot like the roomba, just an Ugly Green color, but, I don't really care what it looks like as long as it works.

Here is what I have found out so far:

Noise Level - they are both about the same

Dust Cup - I like the placement of the Cleanmate Dust Cup better, the Roomba has it on the outside and you pull it off, if you don't put it back on tight you come out and the dust bin is in one room and the roomba in another! This one has it in the middle, no way for it to fall out.

UV Light - Roomb doesn't have one

Remote Control - easy to use and store, on the unit!

Speed - the Cleanmate is Slower then the Roomba but not really sure this is a "bad" thing.

I will give another review after I have used it a few times around the house after it is fully charged!

So far so good!

Cleanmate vs Roomba

First off let me say right away that I have Loved all my Roomba's, the operative word is ALL - as anyone who has used one knows, it is a Love (when it works) Hate (when it quits working) relationship.

You should NEVER buy a Roomba without a extended warranty because it will stop working on you!

I was shopping for a new Roomba because Sharper Image where I bought my last one is out of business and I found the Cleanmate. I decided to give it a try because I know the Roomba will break, want to see how long this one lasts, PLUS it is over $100 LESS and comes with some features the Roomba doesn't.

As soon as I get it I will give you a review!
