When life gives you hotdog buns make breadcrumbs!

We had a barbeque and while back and we had some leftover hotdog buns, sooo, I of course froze them for future use.

Wellll, my husband was not thrilled with the defrosted buns to say the least, so there I was, looking at about 12 hotdog buns, thinking what the heck, I really, really REALLY hate wasting food.

So, I pushed them to the side and started working on my lunchs for the week, one of the receipes called form breadcrumbs and I thought, hmmmm EUREKA!

I toasted up the hotdog buns and then made breadcrumbs out of them with the food processor. (oh yea, insert happy dance here!) I was able to make something I need from something that nobody wanted.

I did find that you get about 1 1/2 cups of bread crumbs from 3 hot dog buns.

Hey, I might be a terrible cook, but I am also terribly creative!! BoYah!
