Receipts = Money

I always scan my receipts then throw them away....however, before that, I always check for deals...so far today in under 15 min I have entered a drawing from Albertson for 100, rec'd a free entree from Panda Express, got a coupon for $2 off a $6 purchase from Baja Fresh, and entered to win $1000 (yea..I know, highly unlikely) from Taco Bell.

Not to bad for 15 min of my time.

Get rewarded for things the shopping you do

Well,  I am in charge of a lot of purchasing at my company and since we have reduced our staff and salaries I try and take every advantage to get more Bang for my Buck as you all know.

So I have been buying for the company on my "My Points" account and recently I redeemed enough points for (2) $10 Chili's cards & (2) $10 Baja Fresh cards.

We go to both of these places quite often, and with Baja Fresh I always have coupons to use so the Cards go even further.

Dinner for 2 under $5.00

How is that possible? First off it wasn't a NICE restaurant it was Baja Fresh and here is my secret:

Remember in earlier posts I let you know I use Mypoints when I buy stuff for myself for work.

So I recently redemmed enought points for 2 $10 Gift Cards, 1 for Subway (for hubby lunches) and 1 for Baja Fresh (we eat there a LOT!).

So we had the $10 gift card and there was a $5.00 off $15.00 purchase in the mail that I had and I brought my plastic cup for a .99 drink refill, so dinner for 2 ( 1 Baja Ensalada Salad, (3) chicken and cheese tacos and 1 water cost us $4.87 or so!)
