We took a mini-vacation this weekend. We just got in the car and started driving. We stayed in Monterey at the Otter Inn. It was a nice hotel. Nothing fancy, but it did have some nice extras.
Free WiFi - at least a $10 savings
Free Parking - at least a $10 savings - the hotel was in walking distance to everything
Free Snacks - at least worth $15 - we got a basket with 6 sweet rolls, 2 nutrigrain bars, 2 bags chex mix & trail mix
So ya it wasn't fancy smancy, but I can't remember the last time I used the "amenaties" at a big hotel (spa, fitness room, ect.)
So you end up with a lot of bang for you buck here!
