There is a little known program in CA that helps employeers keep thier staff, even if they have to cut hours.
How it works is this - if you lose 10% or more of your hours per week at your job, you can apply for workshare, and CA will pay a portion of those lost wages.
If you are on salary you are Shit Out O' Luck, like me, but if you are on hourly and get your hours cut this could help make up for the lost wages. Check it out...you lucky buggers :-)
