AMake sure to check your receipts after you make a purchase. More and more you will find "free" items, discounts and "drawings".
I really don't waste my time on the 1 in 100 chance to win "xxx", however, most of the fast food places now offer "free" items (Panda Express free entree) to $ money off next purchase. You have to respond with 2-5 days of visiting and them remember to take 'em with you!
Even JC penny's gives you a 15% coupon to use on your next visit, not to bad for a couple minutes of your time!
