Valentines Day doesn't have to empty your wallet

I am adding a link that you will find eye-opening regarding on-line flower shopping. 

Here are a couple of romantic ideas that will give you a BIG bang (sheesh people!) for Little bucks!

I would say the number one budget item, get the flowers from you local florist, if all else fails there will be sidewalk vendors with flower on the side of the road!!

You know you have given them (mom, girlfriend, wife, boyfriend, husband) flowers/plants before, see if you can find the vase now tucked somewhere in a closet, under the bed, under the sink..... take that vase to the LOCAL florist and ask them to add some ribbon to the vase (if it is plain) and fill it with flowers!  If you hit up the sidewalk vendor, you better add that BEAR!

Sometimes less is MORE..... in these economic times, it is the thought that counts, buy her/him a pretty bud vase with a rose and baby's breath, have it on the table when she comes home with a bottle of champagne or wine.

FYI - if you can do it.... deliver the gift to her work, while we all love to get flowers and gifts, nothing is more exciting then to have them delivered to your work so everyone else can see what a lucky girl she is.  This saves you money and earns you extra points! The opposite seems to be for guys, my husband prefers I not send gifts to his work??

The myth that you HAVE to get us something is just that a myth, we just want to know you haven't forgotten and we are still special, so a card works just as well as flowers or gifts.
