Welll..... my back is bothering me again, and last time they took me off work for 2 weeks ( oh darn!) and wanted me to go to physical therapy a couple times a week for a few months. However, my insurance changed and the co-pay is now 30 dollars and the physical therapy office is only open during business hours (which means leaving work early, which makes the boss unhappy).
So, I am going to be doing my Yoga 2x a week instead. It is wierd my sis-in-law dr told her to do yoga also as it is good for her back! The benefit of the yoga is it costs LESS per class then the physical therapy and I can do it AFTER work.
I am NOT a medical dr or professional and I am NOT in any way stating you should stop or not start PT and do yoga, you need to ask your doctor if it is a viable option for you.
