I am an avid reader, ok ok addicted reader, so Frugal Reader was a great place to get my fix...er...books.
However, much to my and many other's dismay, it seems that Frugal Reader is no more. It would have been nice to have some notice, plus I had at least 30 hits....um...I mean credits left on my account.
So know I have to search out a new supplier.....I mean swapping site! Lets see what happens.

I'm on 2 other swap sites, and was on Frugal Reader, too. Thankfully, I didn't take as bad a loss as you did...I only had 2 or 3 credits left.
I would definitely recommend paperbackswap.com first...the selection is incredible, and it's run very well. Next, bookmooch.com is kind of like FR as in the selection is not quite that great for newer stuff, but it all depends on what your favorites are. I find it to be very good to find some older books.
Hope that helps!
Dear Christy,
I agree with paperbackswap.com, I have signed up and already sent almost 10 books! I like some of the other features of the site. A little notice would have been appreciated from Frugal Reader though!
I like paperbackswap.com too. Too bad FR seems to be gone. I still had about 47 credits there!
Isn't there a way we could sue Frugalreader for our credits. I had 54. That is alot of shipping money down the drain, plus the books!
Sad that FR is gone, but I have paperbackswap.com, titletrader.com, bookmooch.com and whatsonmybookshelf.com. I've signed up for swaptree, but don't have anything there. Ditto for bookins.com.
