After much research, and traveling to Lowes, Home Depot, Sears and Best Buy we went with ....drum roll please.... The Samsung Washer and Dryer set. They aren't the top of the line but they are nice and the washer is the Top Loader.
We rec'd 20% off the price plus I should be able to get a rebate from the Water and Elec Utilities ( I am working on that right now).
They are much quieter then our last machines, and the Dryer has a light, hah, I didn't even know that was a feature but it is cooool! I just found some socks back there because of it!
I will have to wait for the next few water bills to see if there really is a difference! I will keep you all informed.
