It might seem like I am tooting my own horn, but heck if I don't who will???
Got my electric bill and
2 yrs ago we used 52.84 kWh,
1 yr ago we used 41.42 kWh
and this year.. insert drum roll.... 32.89 kWh
the down side, my bill is going down but not nearly as fast as my useage, that gets depressing!
I think some of the biggest savers are using Dishwasher ONLY when completely full, making sure all lights are off (helps to keep your house cool!) changing light bulbs, and using the sun when possible to dry towels and jeans!
Also we do most of our laundry at night and on the weekends for a lower rate!
