I just bought the Egg Genie and its great!
As you know my kitchen is out to get me, soooo, I avoid using it as much as possible, this makes us all happy.(the long sorry store is on my other blog!)
I guess I should give the WHOLE kitchen a bad rap, it is really just that stupid oven!
The great thing about this device is it saves Time/Electricity/Water - its a Trifecta!
Time - it took a whopping 8 min to get my hardboiled Eggs
Electricity - see above!
Water - it took maybe a 1/4? cup of water, they give you a little plastic cup that you fill up depenging on how many you are cooking and how you want them cooked!
The stove method takes a lot more time - thus more electricty - and a lot more water, and they don't come out near as nice as the Genie!!! The side effect of all the Trifecta? You save money and the planet - woocka choka choooo
