I just found a GREAT product, it is called DampRid. We saw it advertised late one night and figured we would give it a shot.
In our master bedroom the previous owners put in a bathroom, it has a fan but no window, so it gets hot and steamy in there and also heats up the room.
So we got this little bugger and it WORKS! BOOM, it is great, not only does it get rid of the dampness the mirror clears up quickly so I don't have to take a towel to it and smear it up and our room stays cooler so I don't have to use the A/C as much.
I put in under the sink, to keep the animals away from it. When I take a shower I open up the door and leave it open til it clears!
