We went out to diner the other day and decided to go thru the book for something new and found
"The Kabob House" Bar & Grill - 46 Auto Center Dr, Ste. 116, Lake Forest, CA 92610
We really liked it. The atmosphere is very inviting. They had live music, a nice bar, a fireplace, it was very nicely lit. We were greeted and seated right away.
They brought us the menus, water and flat bread to start with. We ordered the Hummus appetizer ($4.99) it was eaten with the bread they brought us earlier.
I ordered a Kenwood Brut Split (yes I am over 21 :-( my husband ordered a Rum and Diet Coke ($8.00). I had the Shrimp Kabob dinner which was 8 shrimp (which were yummy!) with onions and peppers (eewwwhh) plus rice ($16.99). My Husband had the Chicken & Shrimp Kabob which came with onions & pepper(ewwhh) and tomatoes (yummy, which I ate, he doesn't do veggies;-) ($25.99) He had a Heineken with dinner ($5.00) and we had Baklava (which was the best we have ever had) ($5.99)
For the most part we really enjoyed our meal. I would have preferred that the bread be warm and the rice serving was on the small side and Baklava was 2 small pieces.
Our total bill was $80.77 before tip, but we got a $16.00 discount with the Entertainment Book.
We will probably go back again, more for drinks at the bar and dessert then dinner.
